He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brockett and Grace Moffat Brockett; his wife Annette "Hen" Brockett; and his son Billy Brockett. He is survived by: his daughter Laura Brockett of Aulander, NC; his siblings, Grace Walkinshaw (Gerry) and Jack Brockett; and his pets, Cleo, Malkie, Mog, Minky and Luna Brockett.
