He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Henry Rawls and Lessie Lillian Dempsey Rawls; his daughter Melissa Morley; and his siblings, Joseph "Pete" Luther Rawls, Gerald Dale Rawls and Marian Auker.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his son Kevin Michael Rawls (Chris) of Ahoskie, NC; his grandchildren, Cortney Morley, Daniel Morley, Kaden Rawls and Caleb Rawls; his son-in-law Nathan Morley; and his sisters, Shelba Jean Kessinger (Bill) of Charleston, Eileen Rawls Liverman of Aulander and Maxine Dunning of Mechanicsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
