He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Thomas Futrell and Alberta Horton Futrell; his children, Ernest Williams of Rocky Mount, NC and Brenda Ricks of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, Calvin Futrell of Ahoskie, NC, Elizabeth Futrell of Ahoskie, NC, Geraldine Sessoms of Ahoskie, NC, Roosevelt Robbins of Ahoskie, NC, Melinda Futrell of New York, Mary Crawford of Eure, NC, Patricia Parker of Suffolk, NC, Milton Horton of Washington, DC and Thelma Futrell. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
