Iris Beasley Lassiter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2021, at the age of 84, Iris Beasley Lassiter of Aulander, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cleveland and Mabel Lee Beasley; her former husband Bobby Lawrence Hurdle; her husband James Albert Lassiter; and her siblings, Hubert, Sherwood, Thearl, Orville, Harold Lee, Odie, Charles, Milford, Roby, Earl Beasley, Josephine Houston, Margaret Core, Mary Stanley and Maxine Beasley.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Ann Lambert (Ted) of Franklin, NC, Brian Keith Hurdle (Ann) of Jackson, NC and Mike Vaughan (Titia) of Aulander, NC; her grandchildren, Quinton Lassiter (Mindy) of Sylva, Jamison Lassiter of Sylva, Braxton Hurdle (Amanda) of Grimesland, Conner Hurdle of Jackson, Cody Hurdle of Jackson, Michael Vaughan (Sarah) of Aulander, LeAnn Lassiter of Sylva, Monica Lambert of Cherokee and Alicia Lambert of Cherokee; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Presley, Hailey, Abby, Kaylee, Allyson, Morgan, Gavin, Hunter, Ayden and Gabe; and her close friend Lucille Brown.
Due to the COVID pandemic, the family has set aside a time for visitation will be at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC, on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
