She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Harvey Britton, Sr. and Sallie Mae Askew Britton; her husband Carlton B Edwards; her children, Thomas Wayne Edwards, Sr. of New Bern, NC and Darlene Edwards Young of Youngsville, NC; and her grandchildren, Thomas Wayne Edwards Jr. (Lisa) of Greenville, NC and April Edwards Goviello (Chris) of New Bern, NC. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
