She is survived by: her daughter Lakisha Smallwood of Kelford, NC; and her siblings, Milton Barnes of Chesapeake, VA, Kennedy Barnes of Aulander, NC, Lindell Barnes of Suffolk, VA, Charleston Barnes of Suffolk, VA, Troy Barnes of Suffolk, VA, Wilson Barnes of Kelford, NC, Alice B. Gatling of Ahoskie, NC, Janet Barkley of Aulander, NC, Inesi Boone of Suffolk, VA, Irma Barnes of Suffolk, VA and Virginia Mitchell of Kinston, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mill Branch Baptist Church (745 Mill Branch Church Rd, Aulander, NC 27805).
