She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Flythe and Tessie Peoples Flythe. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Williams of Aulander, NC, Evangeline Ingram of Durham, NC and Monta Mitchell of Ahoskie, NC; and her sisters, Mary Bowser of Conway, NC and Anna Flythe of Rich Square, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
