He is survived by: his wife Becky Lou Styron; his children, Michelle Sumrall (Jeff) of Leland, NC, Dora Lee Styron of Morehead City, Rénee Bateman of Baltimore, MD, Skylar Elizabeth Styron of Atlantic and James Lee Thompson (Jennifer) of Harkers Island; his brothers, Jeff Styron of Atlantic and Rex Allen Styron (Reva) of Cedar Island; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Rénee Sumrall, Koven Sumrall, Brittany Nicole Bateman, Kayla Rae Bateman, T. J. Bateman, Salena Bateman, Jordan Bateman, Kara Thompson and Emily Thompson; his nephews, Jacob, Danny and Taylor Rodriguez; and also Sara Rodriguez Block.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
