He was predeceased by: his father Warner Fuchs; his wife Shirley T. Fuchs; and his siblings, LaVerne Feisner, Clara Colvin, Marcella Schenkenfelder, Janice Aebersold, Rose Russo and Anthony Fuchs.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Yeomans (Leland) of Harkers Island, Clara Graham (Sammy) of Smyrna and Charles Ashley Fuchs (Heather) of Atlantic; his brother John "Jack" Fuchs of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Ashley Lawrence (Amy), Charles M. Fuchs (Lindsey), Samantha Springle (Davis), Jessica Dupree (Dane), Megan Graham, Payton Fuchs and Brayden Fuchs; and his great grandchildren, Kole, Nic, Charlotte, Camden, Charlie and Harper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
