He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Atlantic Beach, NC; his children, Robert John Stiehl III (Meredith) of Fayetteville, NC, Scott Anderson Stiehl and Samantha Stiehl Byers (Greg) of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Kenan and Barrett; his sister Mary Ann Van Thunen (Bill) of Wyckoff, NJ; his nephew William Van Thunen (Amanda) of Richmond, VA; his niece Victoria Van Thunen of New York, NY; and his great-nephew Wills.
