He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elzy Jr. and Mary Louise VanWinkle; his son Todd Elzy; and his siblings, Doris Mullins, Arthur C. Elzy and Joseph Elzy.
He is survived by: his wife Jenny Elzy; his daughters, Michelle Millet (Scott) of New Bern, Renee Jeffries (Steve) of New Castle, KY and Jeanette Vallecillo (Anthony) of Jacksonville; his siblings, Rita Snyder of Ohio and Lionel Elzy (Karen) of Indiana; and his pet Duke. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
