He is survived by: his wife Eugenia Trulove Lanier; his daughters, Laura L. Sanders (Thorpe), Rebecca Lanier-Whitman (Eddie) and Jeanette L. Hays (Johrison); and his grandchildren, Julia Lanier, Anna Kitchin, Catherine Kitchin, Emily Taggart, Allen Taggart, Hailey Lanier and James Lanier.
