It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida Holcomb of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Casagrande and Amable Casagrande; her husband Alfred "Smith" Holcomb; her siblings, Vera (Ken Benson), Ines Milan, Mary (John Zalick) and Tony; and her sister-in-law Naomi Casagrande.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marita Greene of Atlantic Beach, NC and Roberta Bebout (Rick) of Florida; her grandchildren, Carly Roerick (Jeremy) of Texas and Joshua Ward (Nancy) of Florida; and her great grandchildren, Colten Lee and Kiara Lynn.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made payable to the Atlantic Beach Fire Department, for the "Ladies Division, King Mackerel Tournament", 125 Fort Macon Rd., Atlantic Beach, NC 28512.
