He is survived by: his wife Annette Faulkner Hocutt; his children, Iva Hocutt Fearing (Tat) of Newport, Cary Hocutt (Kim) of Bogue and Richard Hocutt (Cindy) of Newport; his stepson Scott Faulkner (Elizabeth) of Kinston, NC; his siblings, Sandra Nobles (Joe) of Deep Run, Charlene White (Bill) of New Bern, Steve Nunn (Ada) of Wilmington and Michael Nunn of Martinsville, WV; his grandchildren, Kent Hocutt, Parker Hocutt, Totty Hocutt, Bo Fearing, Nathan Mejia and Meagan Mejia; his stepgrandson Lex Faulkner; his great grandchildren, Caden Hocutt and Autumn Hocutt; and his pet Emily.
