He is survived by: his wife Martha Barnes Beam; his children, Mary Margaret Godier (Sean) of Wilmington, Francis Martin Beam III (Buck) and Clifford M. Harrell III (Liz) of Raleigh; his brother William M. Beam (Bill); his siblings-in-law, Mark and Mary Anne Schiller of Chocowinity; and his grandchildren, Winn, Mercer, Beau, Wayland, Birdie and Mac. He is also survived by his friends and by his grandchildren.
