With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Atkinson Jr. of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wilkes Atkinson and Tommie Jeter Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Sally Ann; his son Zeb Wilkes Atkinson (Stephanie) of Tupelo, MS; his grandchildren, Gavin Wilkes and Whitney Ann; and his brother-in-law Vance Bunting Taylor (Sue). He is also survived by two nieces and cousins.
