He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Lucas; and his siblings, Terry West and Larry Lucas. He is survived by: his children, Brian Lucas (Melissa) and Kim Lucas Elkins (Kevin); his grandchildren, Logan Lucas, Addyson Lucas, Michael Lucas and Mason Basden; and his siblings, Gordan Lucas (Bonnie) and Kay Gursley (Al).
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Howard-Carter Funeral Home (1608 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28504).
In lieu of flowers, his request was for contributions in his memory be made to his grandchildren to invest in their futures.
