It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lacy Floyd Corbett of Atkinson, North Carolina, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Willie Corbett and Carnie Mae Woodcock Corbett; and his sister Shirley Moore. He is survived by: his children, Timmy Corbett (Lisa), Melissa "Missy" Prosser (Chris) and Ashley Corey (Patrick); his grandchildren, Gabby Corbett, Preston Corbett, Tiffany Prosser, Christopher Prosser, Cody Blackburn, Ari Corey and Delaney Corey; his sister Huelva Dale Corbett; and his pet Wendy. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
His family requests that in lieu of flowers those wishing to honor Lacy's memory consider a donation in his name to Atkinson Cemetery, c/o Sara Jane Lanier, 6060 Point Caswell Road, Atkinson, NC 28421.
