He was predeceased by: his parent Johnnie Barton Hales. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Hunnicutt Hockaday; his wife Traci Hales; his children, Autumn Edwards of Atkinson, Cheyanne Hales and Dakota Hales; his stepfather Danny Hockaday of Hampstead; his sisters, Misty Rose of Hampstead and Angela Hales of Sneeds Ferry; his grandmother Deloris Hunnicutt of Hampstead; and his stepsiblings, Sheila Hockaday of Hubert, P. J. Moore of Newton Grove and Dusty Johnson of Dunn.
