She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lonnie James Gray and Eva Rackley Gray of Atkinson, N. C; her husband Allen Scott Carter, Sr.; and her sister Elizabeth Gray Porter of Burgaw. She was also cherished by her 6 step children.
