She was predeceased by: her parents, James Felton and Estelle Colvin; her husband Melvin Terry; her daughter Marilyn Felton; and her siblings, Troy L. Gurganious, Maxie E. Witherspoon, Katie Felton Hawes and Annie L Felton.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Terry-Johnson; her grandchildren, Steven A. Brown (Erica) and Marilyn D. Brown; her great grandchildren, DeVante M. Brown, Ste and Laysia A. Brown; her brothers, James Felton, Jr. (Brenda) and David Felton; her sisters-in-law, Mary Gurganious and Catherine S Witherspoon; her nieces and nephews, Troy L. Gurganious, Jr., Tracy Gurganious, Emily Witherspoon, Christopher Witherspoon, Kadell Felton, Sr. (Dulce), Lawrence Hawes Jr., Theresa Hawes, Lisa Hawes-Webb (Ernest), Frederick Hawes (Tonia), James Toomer and David Toomer; and her close friends, Marvia Cunningham and Shelbia Simpson. She is also survived by cousins, great -nieces & nephews and friends.
There her spiritual foundation was laid and continued to grow even after relocating to Brooklyn NY.
