She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Price and Mary Price. She is survived by: her sons, Craig Downing, Herman Downing (Priscilla) of Atkinson and Daniel Downing of Wilmington; her siblings, Jimmy Price of Matthews and Doris Horrell (Frankie) of Wilmington; and her friend Rosemary Lewis. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Harrell's Funeral Home (212 S Dickerson St, Burgaw, NC 28425). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel (212 S Dickerson St, Burgaw, NC 28425).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Rockfish Chapter of DAR or Moore's Creek Battleground Association.
