Alton Butler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton Butler of Atkinson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cleveland and Bessie Sherman Butler; his son Joseph Allen Butler; and his siblings, J. C. Butler, Jr., Herbert Lee Butler, Margaret Butler Bostic and Josephine Butler Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ward Butler; his daughters, Marjorie B. Craver and Janet B. Hare; and his grandchildren, Allen E. Butler, Jeremiah C. Butler, Truman A. Hare, Sarah H. Greene (Ricky) and Erica H. Martin (Randy). He is also survived by one great granddaughter.
