Wade Arnold Edwards Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arnold Edwards and Hazel Marie Bryant Edwards; his wife Betty Jean Shelton Edwards; and his grandson Matthew Gresham. He is survived by: his children, Wade Edwards Jr. (Debra), Alvin Edwards (Lisa), Christina Wykle and Wanda Carter (Neal); his grandchildren, Garrett Carter, Wyatt Carter (Hailey), Tristan Carter, Adam Gresham (Esther), Alvin Edwards Jr. (Shelby), Wade Edwards III, Chris Edwards (Amanda) and Kelly Edwards; his great grandchildren, Danniella Edwards, Nevaeh Edwards, Kynnadee Edwards, Harper Edwards, Andrew Edwards, Cheyenne Edwards, Thatcher Edwards, Zora Gresham and Remi Gresham; and his siblings, Shirley Austin (Cecil), Pat Beach Edwards and Johnny Edwards. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home (1428 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (1 Chapel of Faith Dr, Candler, NC 28715).
