Janet Somey wrote a sympathy message

“Condolences to all on your loss. Virginia was a special part of my life & I loved her dearly. She was a wonderful "Gran Gina"...my children seemed to always call her "MY Gina". The first time we met, she cooked a great steak dinner. Jack & she told me it might be the only steak dinner I ever got at their house. And sure enough...it was! I learned from her to never try a new recipe that covered more than 2 pages in a magazine, & the soft side of the top sheet always goes next to your skin!”
