As Thomas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Thomas leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; and his children, Ronda McKinney (Mark) of Asheville, David Millard (Stephanie) of La Plata, MD and James McAninch of Fairview. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and countless extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Thomas's memory to Alzheimer's Association.
