He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Blankenship Sawyer and Plato Riddle; and his brothers, Plato Wesley Riddle and Charles Riddle. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Imogene Rice Metcalf; his sister-in-law Donna Pittman; his nephew Ronnie Riddle; and his brother Wolf.
