She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Thompson and Sarah Thompson. She is survived by: her children, E. Dennis Young III and Lisa K. Young; her brother John Thompson (Harriet); her nephew Michael Thompson; her niece Julie Thompson-Trent; and her great-niece Hadley Trent.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Room A Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (1498 Sand Hill Rd, Candler, NC 28715).
