She was predeceased by: her father James Young; her grandparents, Floyd and Mary McCanless; her mother Sarah McCanless Young Griffani; and her daughter Katrina Marie Hammond.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah "Rebecca" Garland (John), Allison Hammond, Ralph Hammond, Jr. and Madalyn Rogers (David); her grandchildren, Shaun Gilbert, Errol DeVante, Anaami DeVante, Sawan Kabir DeVante, Aryah McCanless Hammond, Jessica Pressley (Wilbur), Brianna Rogers, Tobias "Toby" Rogers and Katrina "Katy" Rogers; and her great grandchildren, Kalani Gordon-Gilbert, Destiny, Patience Pressley, Charlotte, Zachari, Deklan and Francis Rogers.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gateway Church (20 Integrity Dr, Woodfin, NC 28804).
