He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Malcom Sprouse and Lillie Mae Clement; and his brothers, Tucker, Bo, Rocky Sprouse and Fred Johnston.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Dover (Kevin), Heather Conner (Rick), Katherine Sprouse, Jeremy Sprouse (Kristy) and Shad Sprouse; his grandchildren, Kamila Sprouse, Tucker Young, Titus Young, Dawson Dover, Cody Conner, Hannah Conner, Maddie Sprouse and Lilly Benson; his great grandchild Lakelyn Conner; his brother Terry Johnston; the mother of his children Kathy Beichner; and also Terry Burke.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
