He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Wanda Dolan Searcy; his nephew Andrew Taylor; and his brother-in-law Randy Weathers. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Searcy; his brother Mike Searcy (Karen); his children, Jonathan and Amanda; his sisters, Susan Searcy Dotsikas (Gus) and Pam Searcy Taylor (Victor); his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Cindy Casey; his niece Annie; his close friends, Charlie Pressley and Kevin Elliot; and also, Hailey (Joseph), Danny Deranek and KC McDaniel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806).
