Richard A. Schroeder Obituary
In loving memory of Richard A. Schroeder of Asheville, North Carolina, who departed this world on December 16, 2024 at the age of 87. Richard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich Schroeder and Effie MacKeigan Schroeder; and his brother Henry Schroeder. He is survived by: his wife Judy Schroeder; his brother Nowana Schroeder; his nephews, Jon Schroeder and David Schroeder; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Falk and Roberta Takacs.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Norma Pulliam Chapel (100 Wesley Dr, Asheville, NC 28803).
