It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Pat Jewsbury of Asheville, North Carolina, born in Benton, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 87, on February 21, 2025. Though Pat may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pat touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Rea and Ieleen Rea. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Jewsbury; her daughter Julie Jewsbury; and her brother Carrol Rea (Norma Rea).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (5 Oak St, Asheville, NC 28801).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Sanctuary and Organ fund at FBC.
