He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Joseph Calloway and Celia Etta Bishop Calloway; and his siblings, Nell Ashmore, Floreta Payne, Martha Taylor, Mary Thomas, Edith Miller, Grace Whitt, John Henry, Bill, Jim, Ted, Eugene and George Calloway.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Joan Coleman Calloway; his daughters, Pamela Edwards (Tommy) of Conover and Janice Elingburg (Rick) of Asheville; his grandchildren, Lisa Walker (Gene), Dr. Jan Barham (Ed), Melinda Riveiro (Greg), Greg Elingburg (Claire) and Chris Edwards; his great grandchildren, Jacob Walker (Annabeth), Joshua Walker (Katie), Sarah Walker, Sydney Barham, Laci Noel Barham, Miles Elingburg, Raymond Riveiro, Christopher Edwards and Oryan Edwards; his great great grandchild Madison Walker; and also, Ben Medford and Karen Hite. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
