She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil A. Kent and Eva Edmonds Kent; her husband Rev. Bruce West; and her siblings, Betty Holcombe, Naomi Hensley, Minnie Woody and Calvin Kent.
She is survived by: her sons, Caroll Bruce West (Brenda), Mike West and Tommy West (Pam). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
