She was predeceased by: her children, Reader Watt, Jr., Julia Allen (Walter) and Darnice Halls; and her grandson Tommy Watt (Melissa). She is survived by: her grandchildren, Johari Eubanks (Robert), Kafi Allen Gay (Teddy), Justin Halls (Amanda) and Shanice Watt; and her siblings, Silla McCurry of Cleveland and Ruth Fant of Whitmire, S. C..
