She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Harrison, Sr. and Ethel Werts Harrison; her siblings, Clayton Harrison, Jr. and Willie Mae Harrison; her nieces, MaKayla LaShae Harrison and Monique Harrison; and her granddaughter Janetta James.
She is survived by: her partner Shuley James; her sisters, Shirley Harrison Moore, Dorothy Harrison (Koota) and Marjorie Harrison (Michael); her children, Tracy Harrison (Regina), Rhonda Wynn (Floyd), Ronald Sharpe (Sandra) and Shirley James; her stepdaughters, Tasha Watkins (Kendrick), Kita Battle and Terick Watkins (Allison); and her son Jonathan Rice. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; a host of friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ray Funeral and Cremation Service (1373 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (47 Eagle St, Asheville, NC 28801). A burial will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Sunset Cemetery (1138 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803).
