He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph William King and Harriet Jane Bullman; his son James Edmond King; and his brothers, Jack and Richard King.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie King; his children, Nancy Hellman (David), Donna King and Jacob King (Amauri); his sister Elaine Kaiser; and his grandchildren, Daniel Loudy Jr. (Rebecca), Amber Barnwell (Hunter), Christina Leaper, Jayme King and John Hill. He is also survived by Seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oteen Baptist Church (37 Oteen Church Rd, Asheville, NC 28805).
