She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Hemstreet and Betty Hemstreet. She is survived by: her husband Juan Gerardo Balderas; and her siblings, Don Hemstreet (Joy), Dave Hemstreet (Chris), Bill Hemstreet (Carolyn), Tom Hemstreet (Donna) and Sally Crawford (Jim). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
