She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Johnson and Elsie Johnstone Johnson; her husband Charles Calhoun Adams; and her daughters, Linda McCollum and Iris Burrell.

She is survived by: her son Terry Adams (Debbie) of Asheville, NC. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
