It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julia G. Ray (Asheville, North Carolina), who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 110, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George B. Greenlee, Sr. and Elizabeth Johnson Greenlee; her husband Jesse G. Ray, Sr.; and her brothers, Bluford Greenlee and George B. Greenlee, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Wilma Ray-Bledsoe, Jesse G. Ray, Jr. (Donna), George William Ray (Sondra) and Charles Ruben Ray (Thalia); and her grandchildren, William Bledsoe (Annette), Neale Bledsoe, Bryant Baird (Tichelle), Joyce Hicks (Sammy), Keisha Padgen (Todd), Frank Doggett (Danielle), Toye Reddick (Lamont), Harry Jeter (Kati) and Gary Jeter. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
