Though Joyce Hyatt may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Eugene Hyatt and Dorothy Mae Crowder Hyatt. She is survived by: her husband Michael Smith; her children, Kristen Smith Barton (Wesley) and Tyler Smith; her sisters, Brenda Hyatt and Angie Hyatt Smith (Patrick); her nieces, Stacie Edwards (Austin) and Emma Edwards; and her nephew Walker Edwards.
A reception was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home (1428 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806).
