We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2021, John Richard Reed (Asheville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Doris Unsworth; his wife Jeanine Reed (Shepherd); his parents-in-law, Eugene and Peggy Shepherd; his sister-in-law Tracie Pace (Gregg); his sister Robin Reed Jones (Chuck); his children, Paige Wilson (Todd), Keith Reed (Mitzi), Ashley Reed and Jason Reed; and his nieces and nephews, Drake Reed, Brigman Reed, Annie McNeely (Tim) and Drew Brittain (McKenzie). He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren and his fur babies.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to the Reynolds Volunteer Fire Department, 235 Charlotte Highway, Asheville, NC 28803 in appreciation for all the times they responded and assisted Rick.
