It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Brown (Asheville, North Carolina), born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on April 22, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Charles Earl Blaine; her brothers, Charles Thad Blaine and Turner Blaine; and her grandson Brandon Michael Wright. She is survived by: her parent Lucy Watts Blaine; her husband Brown; her daughters, Deanna Lynn Parker (Bradley) of Candler and Denise Wright (Kenny) of Fairview; her granddaughters, Heather Ann Solly, Ashley Michelle Hollifield and Amber Nicole Wright; and her siblings, Jean Setser of Waynesville, Janice Peak (Randal) of Otto, Thurman Lewis Blaine (Trudy) of Waynesville and Theodore Rogers "Buddy" Blaine (Betty) of Franklin.
