With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Lee Rayfield of Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Raffield and Pearl Raffield; his wife Lucille Rayfield; his daughters, Brenda Rhinehart (Rick) and Michelle Blair (Mike); his sister Diane Kadlec (Johnny); his grandchildren, Jessica Thomas (Ben), Jake Rhinehart (Lizeth), Erika Katner and Jacob Blair (Elisabeth); and his great grandchildren, Emma Rhinehart and Savannah Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Charles George VA Medical Center, Hospice, 1100 Tunnel Rd., Asheville, NC 28805.
