He is survived by: his parents, Ruby Ann Barnes (Louis) and James Franklin Speight (Angela); his children, Logan Nicole Speight Johnson (Bailey) of Pleasant Garden, Landon Douglas Speight of Raleigh, Jaydon Cole Speight of Burlington and Ava Marie Speight of Burlington; his granddaughter Emerald Grace Johnson; his half-brother Scott Speight (Shannon); his stepbrothers, Keith Barnes (Susan), Scott Barnes (Renee) and Patrick Barnes (Tammy); and his cousins, Sharon Mercer White, Tammy Pridgen Hill, Bruce Grant Pridgen II and Lee Ann Pridgen Goff.
