Gus John Zourzoukis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gus John Zourzoukis (Asheville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zourzoukis and Athena Zourzoukis; and his siblings, George Zourzoukis (Mary), Maria Andreopoulos (George) and Demo Zourzoukis.
He is survived by: his wife Penelope Zourzoukis; his daughters, Athena Poulos (Milton) and Eleni Anagnostiadis (Demet); his grandchildren, Manoli Anagnostiadis (Ashley), Carni Winter (Mike), George Poulos and Costa Poulos; his great grandchildren, Maria and Nicholas Anagnostiadis; and his brothers, Christos Zourzoukis (Adamandia) and Evangelia Zourzoukis. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Kosta's name to the Iconography Fund of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, P.O. Box 8369, Asheville, NC 28814.
