He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Wilson and Frances Mosley Smith; his son Carlos Burton; his grandparents, Benjamin and Myrtle Thompson; his great-grandparents, Hester Mills and Eva Lou Sullivan; and his siblings, Shawn Wilson and Sonya Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney Jeter (Kendrick), Danielle and Erica Jeter; his siblings, Alvernon Bomar, Andre Wilson, Sandra Pearson (Calvin) and Monica Whitson; and his close friend Ava Roberts. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
