She is survived by: her children, James Briggs (Yvonne) of Asheville, NC, Betty Wilson of Durham, NC and Bishop Carolyn Briggs of Shelby, NC; her granddaughter Lisa Wilson Killian (Donnie) of Durham, NC; her great grandchildren, Dionna Mickle (Alex) of Durham, NC, Brianna Pearson of Durham, NC and Allexus Killian of Durham, NC; and her close friend Barbara Hunter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
