She was predeceased by: her parents, Herny Koon and Cleolar Hardy Koon; her husband William; her son William Carl Clark, Jr.; and her brothers, Edward Koon, Joe Lewis Koon, Frankie Koon and Harold Koon.
She is survived by: her children, Meryl McDonald (Isaiah), Debora Hudson (Brad), Robert Franklin Clark (Sherrie) and Micheal Kenneth Clark (Dione); her grandchildren, Isaiah McDonald, III, William Clark, Tyya Turner, Hannah Clark-Johnson, Jasmine Logan and Felicia Clark; and her great grandchild Makayla Chapman.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ray Funeral and Cremation Service (1373 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803). Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (47 Eagle St, Asheville, NC 28801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the Sunset Cemetery (1138 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803).
